Pre-Travel Essentials
Buyers are responsible for booking their own flights to Shanghai. You may arrive at either:
• Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), which handles the majority of long-haul international flights, or
• Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA), which primarily serves regional and domestic routes.
China is increasingly cashless:

Alipay International is the most convenient method for foreign visitors and allows you to link international Visa/Mastercard cards.

Alipay+ Alliance: Travelers from select countries/regions (Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, etc.) can use their home e-wallets such as Touch ‘n Go, TrueMoney, or Kakao Pay directly in China.

Credit Cards: While major international hotels and some luxury retailers accept Visa/Mastercard, smaller businesses may not. We strongly recommend setting up Alipay to avoid inconvenience.

Panda Journey takes place over four days – beginning with a welcome reception at The Middle House and concluding with the Farewell Dinner at Amanyangyun. On 14 & 15 October, buyers will be divided into groups for hosted lunches and site inspections at some of Shanghai’s most prestigious luxury hotels.
In the evening of October 15, buyers can choose a Free Night to relax or join in Panda Tour Experiences, which will be split into two experience tracks. Buyers need to arrange their own transportation to the Panda Tour pick-up point.

Accommodation & Venues
All buyers will be hosted for three or four nights at one of the following luxury hotels. Accommodation is complimentary, though buyers will be asked to provide a deposit and cover incidentals. The deposit is payable by international credit cards.

A select group of buyers will be invited to spend a fourth night at Amanyangyun, at the discretion and courtesy of Amanyangyun. Final accommodation allocations will be announced on 1 October 2025.
Kindly inform us if you intend to bring a partner or guest. Please note that any accompanying partner will incur an additional supplement, payable directly to the allocated hotel. All partner requests remain subject to the hotel’s availability. Access to the show and all official show events will be strictly limited to registered PandaJourney delegates only.
