Pre-Travel Essentials

Buyers are responsible for booking their own flights to Beijing. You may arrive at either:

• Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK), which handles the majority of international and long-haul flights, as well as extensive domestic routes.

• Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), a newer hub primarily serving both domestic and select international routes.

Electronics & Power: China uses Type I plugs with 220V voltage. A universal travel adapter is essential. Bringing a power bank for your phone is also strongly advised.

Beijing at the end of August is warm and humid with decreasing rainfall, featuring daytime highs around 30°C to 31°C (86°F to 88°F) and comfortable nighttime lows around 20°C to 21°C (68°F to 70°F). Day clothes: Lightweight clothes like short-sleeve shirts and shorts made of breathable cotton. Evening layers: A thin long-sleeve jacket or light shirt for the cooler night hours.

During the summit, PandaJourney will provide complimentary shuttle services between your designated host hotel and all official event venues. Transfers between different venues during the day will also be taken care of.

For airport transfers, buyers are requested to make their own arrangements. Our official partner, StarRides, offers a flat-rate chauffeured airport transfer service in luxury vehicles, ensuring a seamless and comfortable arrival and departure experience.

China is increasingly cashless:

Alipay International is the most convenient method for foreign visitors and allows you to link international Visa/Mastercard cards.
Alipay+ Alliance: Travelers from select countries/regions (Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, etc.) can use their home e-wallets such as Touch ‘n Go, TrueMoney, or Kakao Pay directly in China.
Credit Cards: While major international hotels and some luxury retailers accept Visa/Mastercard, smaller businesses may not. We strongly recommend setting up Alipay to avoid inconvenience.

Please note Day 2 lunch at Red Bowl Hot Pot Restaurant. Rosewood Hotel’s hot pot has already reduced odor retention; however, a smell is often left on diners’ clothing and hair due to the pungent aromas produced by various seasonings.

*In the afternoon/evening of Day 03, buyers can choose to join Panda Tour Experiences, which will be split into different experience tracks. Buyers need to arrange their own transportation to the Panda Tour pick-up point.
